My slimeline PS2 wont spin discs

I have a PS2 slimeline (i've had it for a while now) and I may have been playing it too much or something but when I put a game in and turn it on the disc wont spin. I have already tried to take it apart and look around but nothing sofar works. What should I do.

something might be broken on your ps2.just buy a brand new ps2/ps3 if you like

clean the disk with disk cleaner clean the lens of your ps2 with a cd cleaner meaning a cd with brushes on the other side of it or with some rubbing alcohol then it should let you read your games

PS2 disk not playing
Go to www.PlaystationClinic.com The Laser optics may be misaligned or signals from the laser is restricted in some way or another. If the laser does not detect the disc, and send the signal to the Disc Processor, the motor will not spin.
