Kyocera Printer FS-1800 plus - paper jam Can't find the printer manual. Please provide steps to clear the paper jam and reset the printer.

Please use the pictures in your manual to locate and press the reset button in order to factory reset your laser printer.

You can verify this procedure on page 8-9 of the device manual.

Chech for paper jam. Pull out the processing unit and see if there is any paper jammed.

Download the user manual from the manufactures website, I provided the link below. Jam removal instructions start on page 4-12. If you follow the instruction and the printer still indicates a jam then you may have a bad switch or a switch that is stuck down.

on the menu buttons on the machine..change the paper exit to go out the back.. if this solves the problem.. you might be looking into replacing exit rollers or fuser

Please install printer cartridge with drum unite properly.

There are 2 possibility to cause your printer acting like this:
1) Green Off, Red Fast-Flashing = Paper Jam or waiting for jam reset.
2) Green Off, Red Slow-Flashing = Paper Empty or Paper tray is not inserted.

If it is condition 1) then just remove the jam paper then open and close the Top Cover to clear the error.
If it is condition 2) then insert some paper in the paper tray.

call a service technician to clean the paper feed rollers... they aren't picking up the paper... this triggers the error so you have to stand there and manually reset the error and it prints...

Did you try the door in the back of the printer?

Pull the paper cassette out then pull on the green handle to pull out the feed unit.
