Well, you have the 4 ohm dvc kickers, and your amp being stable to 2 ohms doesn't go together very well. If you wire the voice coils in series, and hook the speakers to the amp in parallel, you get 4 ohms, which doesn't use all the power your amp is capable of. If you run the voice coils and the speakers in parallel, you'll drop the resistance to 1 ohm, and probably fry the amp, or at least deal with overheating issues. Better be safe than sorry. You need to run each speaker in series, which means running a positive and negative to each speaker, and a jumper from those terminals to the opposite colored terminals on the second voice coil. Diagram can be seen here: http://www.kicker.com/06/tech-support/manuals/manuals/02SoloBaricL7manual.pdf That puts two 4ohm voice coils in series, and raises the resistance of each speaker to 8 ohms. Then, you have to run both speakers in parallel to the amp. When you run two 8 ohm circuits in parallel, the total resistance of the circuit is 4 ohms. That means seperate positive and negative wires to each speaker. If it is a mono amp, connect both negatives to the negative output, both positives to the positive output. If it is a multi-channel bridgeable amp, You'll probably connect the negatives to one side output (right for example) then connect the positives to the opposite side output (left for example). If you need to bridge your amp, make sure it is bridgeable, and also that you have the speakers bridged to the proper amp outputs. If not sure, reply back here with the amp model number, and maybe I can help you further.Thanks, and I hope this solves your problem.

### I have 2 12" solo-baric l7s but don't know what

Get a dual vented box for them. Not some cheap stuff either or it wont last. Then make sure theyre facing the back when you hook them up. I know its weird but they hit WAY harder that way trust me.

### How to run the speaker wires to connect to the subwoofer? and does a sub woofer burn if you do not put the right ammount of watts to it for example having an kicker l7 connected to a three houndred watt...

i'm guessing you are having problems with the dual voice coil's so I will link you to the kicker wiring guide...

http://kicker.com/sites/default/files/SoloBaricL72006.pdf that has the wiring options, you will need a pdf reader **** as adobe or foxit..

Under powering your subs won't hurt them but running a 15 inch l7 at 300 watts is not going to let the sub perform at peak, I would go with a 800 to 1000 watt amp.

15 inch l7 watt's are as follow

rms = 1000
peak = 2000

### Need help wiring 2 ohm L7's optimally please!

It depends on how long you plan on running your amp when you listen to your music. If you like it loud for a long time, I would kep our speaker load at 2 ohms to keep your amp cooler. If its for car audio competitions where it wont play for so long, ! ohm would give you higher output but heat up your amp faster. Are the subs 2 ohms at each voice coil or 4 ohms? Bridge your voice coils together in parallel then bridge the 2 speakers together in series. That should work fine for you.

### My Amp Keeps shutting off

You need to get an amp with higher wattage. Obviously, your amp cannot handle those two 10" monsters. hehe Nice Subs though :D

### Wire my kicker

Below is a link to the subwoofers manual where is clearly states how to wire it all up, it includes both the 2ohm DVC and 4 ohm DVC models.

### Kicker L712 and rockford fosgate800a2 amp.weak prfmce

Is the box sealed air tight, leaking around speaker? plumbers putty works great. Amp may be good enough for the mtx but underpowered for the kicker. When kicker says 1000 watts that what it is (at a 14.4 volt input). Mtx is ok but may not tell the true watts. Check to see if the speakers are the same ohms also!

### General ?

they are dual 2 ohm all L7 are 2 voice coil per speaker so it is like 2 speakers not 1 the dual 2 ohm version is so you can use 2 speakers wired in series to get a 2 ohm load 2 ohms + 2 ohms = 4 ohms then parralel the 2 at the amp to cut it in half to get 2 ohms. I have full warranties on mine and i dont really sell alot of them any way I prefer the hifonics they sound better last alot longer and take way more power and put out 3 times as much sound. but i can check it out if you have the info.
