So far I've tried two types of wireless cards, and two other wireless devices and everything has failed. I shut down all forms of security, reinstalled all the software and hardware 2 times; followed all connection directions for using both Linksys and Windows XP but nothing works.
I have not tested the wireless cards or devices to connect with other wireless networks, but I am relatively certain they work. I have had them acknowledge the network I set up, but everytime it says unable to connect.
Lets start with the basics. First do you have a computer with an ethernet port for a wired connection? If so connect it to the router and attempt to access the internet. If this works we have eliminated the ISP connection and need to address the wireless configuration of either the router or the adapter or both. I will need the version number of the router which probably appears on a label on the bottom of the device to get access to the proper users guide. I do not have one of these models specifically however on reading the specs it mentions that it works well with B and G wireless cards -- there is a possibility this device will not work with A band cards -- we will confirm this later. Please provide the model number for wireless adapter so we can research them if needed.
