I tried to do a little research on this for you. I have an old 600E and a 600X. The 600E is from 1999, prior to the standardization of USB 2.0. I do not believe the hardware will support 2.0. My recommendation would be to get a serial to USB adapter or a PCMCIA to USB card. You should be able to get one or the other for well less then $30.

the T42 does not have WiFi, instead it facilitates internet connection via 16 BIT & 32 Bit PCMCIA slot to install a WiFi card , in order to go on the internet.

For T20 and T22, the MiniPCI adapter may be an Ethernet/Modem combination card. The Daughter Card (T23) is secured with two screws and is located next to the MiniPCI modem adapter.

A universal charger is easy to find, but I do know that model uses a 16v AC adapter which can be found at any store that sells electronics (Best Buy, etc)
Install drivers for ethernet card or buy a usb to ethernet adapter. That will get you on the net so you can install your other drivers via thinkvantage installer. Or you can just cruise the net with the usb to ethernet adapter itself.
This is an old system, in order to get it internet ready you will need to purchase an ethernet bus card for connecting via ethernet cable, or a wireless bus card for connecting wirelessly. You can find these at Bestbuy or Walmart. As for the game manager, this system is going to be to old and doesn't have the hardware to support the program, basically, it won't work. Oh, the bus cards are also called PCMCIA slot adapters, just in case you run into some overly technical clerk when you're looking for them.
This is going to be with the machine, yes, too old. These machines take a 16 bit wireless card which is almost impossible to find since they stopped making them 6 or 7 years ago, and 16 bit cards were never produced by cellular providers, so a cellular card is completely out of the equation. The cards on the market today are a 32 bit card. I know you're trying to go wireless, but if you want to connect to high speed, you can use a bus port ethernet card that will allow you to plug an ethernet cable into the machine.
There is no otherway. becase the slides sends direct signal to inverter for adjusting brightness. You can adjust brightness the
other way ,through graphic cards property, but that is only adjustment for the color and if you do make it bright, you'll be loosing the vivid color..not so natural.
takecare.
