WE also are replacing the Okidata fuser fan motor on a C9500dxn color LED printer, fan motor part number 40197105 and we think you have to take the top cover off in order to connect the three wire fan electrical harness ( black, white and red wires) in the machine under the top cover and behind the eject guide assembly which is Okidata part # 4194701. We were receive a service error code # 127 which indicated that it may be a faulty fan ( our printer was shutting down after 5-50 outputs and would stop printing). The error message 127 indicated to replace the fuser unit cooling fan motor which we are attempting to do now. Please assist with any installation suggestons and procedures. We have the Parts manual to reference for any diagrams you may suggest to follow for replacement of this one fuser unit cooling fan. Thank you. My OKidata c9500 makes a loud clicking sound when I try to print. Like a drum turning and maybe the contact is not

Similar problem in other Oki's

It's not a drum, I would check the ITB Belt. Known for binding failure.

Okidata didn't spend a whole lot of money/quality plastic/nylon bushings and parts associated with the drive roller and other associated part for their ITB Belt assembly.

I hope this helps,,,Steve

Okidata C5200N printer: streaky copies on magenta

If the streaks are only from the magenta then your magenta drum is bad. If you recently replaced it, it may still be under warranty.

Printer is streaking colors in the same spots on photos only

remove and wash the rollers with water...throughly dry the rollers b4 inserting them...if you still get marks verify that the fusser unit....(hot unit)...Teflon is not marked...that your cartridge doesn't have marks on the surface

Okidata C3200N

It would help if you said where the paper jam was. However the fact that it was ok until you cleared the jam indicates you have knocked something out of place. Its just possible one of the high voltage contact springs that touch the drums has stuck in and no longer makes contacts with one of the drums. Make sure all the semi circular springs move in and out freely. Also check the led heads in the top cover. Make sure all the cables are seated in the heads ok. Make sure all the heads are in the same position and one has not turned around. Retrace your steps as your drums seem to be problem.

Okidata C9500dxn

The power supply probably died. Common in the 9500. Also, make sure you are using the recommend power cord for this printer. This printer uses a ton of power and has a requirement for a beefy power cord. Make sure your using a 20 AMP receptical.

I just changed all my color cartridges but the color printing does not show the right color. Is there a way to calibrate the colors or check how each cartridge is working or not?
