The freezer does all the cooling for both sides a few shelves down in the fridge on the left hand side there is an air intake make sure nothing is blocking it also listen for the freezer fan to run if its not look at the coils in the bottom of the freezer to see if they are heavly frosted in the fridge side at the top left side should be some vents hold your hand there to see if air is blowing through if not reply to me well go from there

you probably have a bad evap fan motor in the freezer compartment. when this motor goes bad it doesnt distribute the cold air around causin subfreezing temp in the bottom of the freezer it then migrates into the fresh food compartment. you can order the motor by the mod# of your refrig and it is fairly easy to change yourself. good luck peyton
ok first the freezer does all the cooling for the whole unit and in order for it to cool properly the freezer needs to be a certain temp it should be around -10 -6 if its not reaching that temp it will still freeze and apper to be working right also check to hear if the freezer fan is running as it pulls air from the fridge and cools it then blowes it back look in the freezer on the back wall toward the bottom see if frost is building also in the refridgerator section on the left hand side of the cabnit is a return vent make sure its not blocked and see what the thermostat in the freezer is and let me know we need to know things like this to help narrow the promblems and people dont reply to the questions so we cant answer appliance repair is a skill
