My television is a SAMSUNG LCD LN-T3232H and I'm unable to have a good quality of image when I plug my computer on. On my computer I set my resolution to 1366x768, I connect it to the LCD panel via a VGA plug and the image is always jumping of few millimeters, what the hell ? So, I start the investigation and I found that refresh is set to 30Hz on my computer an dI have no other choice but 29Hz... I read the instruction manual of the monitor and I see that I MUST set my computer to display and image of 1366x768 with a 60Hz vertical refresh, but I CAN'T ! So..what can I do ???
Re: problem with connecting my computer to television
I don't know much about the subject, but when I had my HDtv connected to my computer I had to play a bit with the TV menu. In that menu, there is a control about computer connections, and that's how I got the image straightened out. I hope this help. Bye. Juan Melgar

Do you have back lighting. Shine a light on the screen. If you can barely see a picture the set has no backlight but video is good. This would rule out the main board. Not shure if this set is LED backlight or flouresent tube back light. If flouresent tube check for voltages to inverter board. 24v or 15v. They are marked on the board. If voltages are there likely inverter board. or could be power brd. Check pricing on new tv.
Very easy fix guys. all you gotta do is use either your component cables or hook the ps3 up to a different TV than change you output settings from 1080 to 720p, thats the reason your not getting an image is the ps3 is set to a 1080i or 1080p output, but the tv is only capable up to 720p. good luck ^^
Hi most LCD TV's that have PC connectivity will be either fitted vith a 15 pin VGA connecter or DVI cinnector. then it is simply a matter of selecting the appropriate input. for connection to your computer - simply move the VGA cable from your Computer monitor and plug it into your tv
usually the back right on but no picture, and the 12v to t-con ok. May be the t-con failure. But even it is true, you have to ensure it match with the panel (what model of the panel the t-con use for). LNT3232HX/XAA has 8 different versions, use 8 different panels and 10 different t-con board. Also the main board or LVDS cable defective, could cause this issue.
