I buy a infitek mp3 without instructions and i don`t know how to sync ,some persons tell me i need to use windows media player but i don`t know how to do it
I have purchased a 1 GB Infitek MP3/MP4 from New York; I have charged it's battery through my laptop however when i turn its switch on the top to 'on', a red light blinks adjacent to the 'on' button for a few seconds, the music comes on and thereafter switches off in under 5 seconds.
Please advise as to what i should be doing to play continuous music. Hi georgelopezi... Downloading Music to MP3 Player
1...You must download and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer. NOTE...Some older MP3 players will not work with Windows Media Player 11 or Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 11. If this happens to you, then you will have to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and install Windows Media Player 10. 2...After you have downloaded and installed Media Player on your computer. 3...Open Media Player on your computer. 4...Install all your music into Media Player that you want to install on your MP3 player. 5...Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using your Data/Sync cord, be sure that Windows Media Player is on. 6...Media player should recognize the MP3 player and sync with it. 7...After it is sync'ed with the computer, you can add the music you have installed into Windows Media Player to your MP3 Player. Disable auto-sync in Windows Media Player to solve the problem.
Disable Auto-Sync in Windows Media Player 11 – go to Microsoft's website for pictorial demonstration Major Symptom: The Mp3 player is adding (or deleting) songs that I don’t want onto the player Major Solution: Open Windows Media Player WITH the mp3 player connected Move the mouse cursor over to the Sync tab Click on the tiny black arrow underneath the word “Sync” to bring down a drop-down menu Select Set Up Sync (this option will not appear if your mp3 player is not connected to the computer) Uncheck box that says "automatically sync files to device" Click OK to finish Voila! You are now set up for manual sync instead of auto-sync. -Tha Mp3 Doctor
First, check the user manual and see if proprietary video conversion software came with the installation CD. good luck if you lost the install CD, b/c Infitek's website sucks.
Either use Windows Media Player, ArcSoft Media converter, or another program to transfer video files to the player if it didn't come with proprietary software.
Problem: Infitek MP4 player is recognized by Vista and Windows XP but when you try to put files on it, error pops up.
Solution: The MP4 needs to be reformatted to FAT32 file system, here is howto do it:
1) Connect USB cable to PC
2) Connect Infitek to cable.
3) An AutoPlay window will pop up on your PC. Select "Open folders to view files using Windows Explorer"
4) On the left of the explorer window the following will be seen "Removable Disk (?:)" (? can be any letter in the alphabet, most likely E-K)
5) Right click on "Removable Disk (?:)" with your mouse and select "Format"
6) "Format Removable Disk (?:)" window will appear, select FAT32 from the FIle system Combo box and select Quick Format from the Format options and click on START
You may need to format the MP4 more than once, it did not work for mr the first time.
7) After you receive a message, Format completed successfully you can drag and drop any files to the "Removable Disk (?:)" which is the MP4 player storage area.
8) Disconnect the cable, turn on the MP4, if at main menu use the >>| key to get to the Music, Click MENU key to get to the first song, click >|| to play song.
I used .WMA files (Windows Media Player) songs. They seemed to work ok
