Purchased TV 6/06, never took it out of the box until 7/07 due to remodelling. TV played great for 8 weeks, then shut off abruptly and does not work at all. Out of warranty to date of purchase. toll free number for customer services states to call during business hours, I did, then it states the office is closed. The toll number is constantly busy. Took it my local tv repair guy, he can't fix it due to no manual or instructions. What do I do next?

After 18 months, unit acts like it has no power. Power adapter problem ???
Customer Service # (866-367-2571) phone always has a busy signal.
After one year of very limited use the remote control will only start and stop the TV. Called the service tech from Mintek and was told by the service tech that he knew what the problem was but I had to take the set to a repair shop. The tech at the repair shop has tried numerous times to talk to a service tech from Mintek one month later we are still waiting.
DEAD DOES NOT POWER ON.
