Question about SanDisk 1GB Cruzer Titanium USB Flash Drive (413072) Hard Drive

1 Answer

Sandisk cruzer titanium 2 gb

I have 2 of these flashdrives and whenever I put either one of them in my computer. I get a big blue screen full of numbers and letters and my computer crashes. It does not matter which usb drive I use and it happens with both of these. It seems to happen as soon as the U3 loads up. My other, older flash drive has no problems on my computer. What's wrong?

Sounds like it is internally shorted. stop plugging it into your computer and return it to WalMart

My sandisk cruzer 4 GB pendrive ws working fine but now whenever i try to format\copy\cut it shows location 0 with used space 0 free space 0 what should i do

Your flashdrive usually shows 2 drives when inserted to your computer, one is the U3 drive and the other one is the removable disk drives. U3 drive is your separate partition for the U3 system and in order for you to store, copy, format your flashdrive, you should be selecting the removable disk drive, not the U3 drive. U3 is a read only memory drive that is responsible for your U3 to work (just like portable applications). Hope this helps.

Computer not recogniing my cruzer mircro 2 gb

You didn't' say which operating system you are using. Any current version of Windows (XP, Vista, 7) should be able to load a driver and not need a download for it. In any event, you can find the driver you need on the SanDisk website here:

SanDisk Malfunction

unfortunately the files cannot be recovered immediately, macs a are compatible with PC flash drives but not the other way around. you need to format the disk. go to start>my computer> then right click on the flash drive and then left click on format, then click ok. when it is done bring the flash drive back to the mac and put the files back on. now try putting the flash drive into the pc again

May be the USB drive is damged. Try connecting it to another machine. If it works then plug it in to the same port as you have installed it.
