My LTF6700FS0 washing machine is giving me a "EF1" error message.
I have a Fridgidaire LTF6700FS0 washer which is giving me a "EF1" error message. I know this is the message for a clogged drain pump, but I need to know if there is a fairly simple way to unclog it. Thanks in advance.

The error codes are not shown in the owner's manual. They would be in the technical information for the washer. They are intended for service technicians. The chart of the error codes is shown below. The EF0 is a group code that indicates that one of the faults associated with error codes beginning with "EF" occurred. This group includes EF1, EF2 and EF5 as shown in the chart below. To determine the exact code of the failure, you can use the procedure in the second image to recall the specific code.
If the washer had excessive suds, you can likely drain it after the suds dissipate. Make sure that you are using HE (High Efficiency) detergent in appropriate quantities in the washer.
If the EF5 error occurred, you could have the hot and cold water lines switched on the back of the washer. You could also have a problem with the temperature sensor.
If the EF1 occurred, you likely have a drain problem. Check the drain line for kinks or clogs. To access the drain pump in the washer, you would need to unplug the washer and remove the bottom front service panel. If you access this area, you can check the pump. Be careful. If the washer tub is still full of water, it will drain out through the pump if your pull off any of the hoses to the pump. You can evacuate most of the water from the tub by using a wet/dry shop vacuum. A clog in the pump could be causing a drain problem.

The E10 error indicates a long fill error meaning the machine thinks it took to long to fill with water. We recommend u to check that the drain tube is now stuck to far into the stand pipe and possible causing as siphoning problem, and that the screens on the water valve inlet are cleaned and not slowing the water flow. u can hook the drain hose off, forcethe water through it with a water hose, unclog the stinky mess and hook it back up again and work it.. tat woul do.. Plz rate this solution.. thank you..
I have a Fridgidaire Front Loader Washer _ Affinity that flashed the E10 error code. I also had the problem with the fabric softener dispenser not emptying, and staying full of water. The problem was the cold water filter on the back of the washing machine that was semi-plugged. Cleaned the filter and now works perfectly. My machine is no longer flashing the Error code 10. The dispenser works perfectly.
