How do charge the camera

you do not charge the camera !
You have to charge the removable battery in the charging dock.
it is then placed on the charging dock that is plugged into the power outlet.
The battery needs to be slided in the direction of the arrow on the charging dock.
The battery is located in the camera at the back near the bottom of the camera.

Charge batteries while camera is docked

what is the model of your camera and what specific battery are you using( what is on the label of the battery?)

when the camera is docked on the printer, you should get a little light indicating the charging status. Once it is fully charged, all 3 green lights would come on.

But, we need to know what is the model of your camera and what type of batteries are being used in order to determine if they are compatible or not.

Red flashing light on battery indicator on the loading dock.

My Z760 does the same thing. When that happens I run the battery completely down by taking pictures until it shuts down. Then when I put it on the dock it charges properly. Don't leave your camera on the dock all the time and don't try to always keep the battery fully charged--instead it will develop memory and think it needs to be fully charged to run and will give you a low battery signal earlier than it should. Wait until you actually get a low battery signal before charging and it should help, but mine will still give me the red light sometimes. Then I run the battery out like I said before. I hope this information helps. :-)

Recharge batteries in camera on g610 printer dock?

Hi, I think I can answer your question, i just tried something with my camera and camera dock.

My camera came with a Kodak battery pack(pack that looks like 2 batteries connected together). When I place my camera with this battery pack in it on the dock, a green light comes on on the dock and the batteries begin to charge. However, when i place any other rechargeable batteries in the camera on the dock, it has no effect, my theory is that it must be a battery pack, possibly by the same manufacturer so that it will charge correctly

Charging Camera

I would test the docking station first. Do you have a way of charging the camera without using the docking station?

Thought I'd ask because some can and some can't.

When I put camera on docking it win,t show charge

First, the dock will charge only the batteries that came with the device; not other rechargeable batteries.
Be sure that the Kodak battery is inserted correctly, the door is closed securely, and that the camera is securely seated in the dock with the power cord secure to both the dock and the AC outlet. The USB cord does not supply power to the dock.
Hope this helps.

Docking and charging digital camera

Not sure if this will help, but you might try removing the batteries from camera, then see if it responds on the dock, if so it is most likely bad battery. That battery should be easy enough to find at locally. You might wanna try the Interactive Troubleshooter on Kodak's site. http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/products/ekn030483.jhtml?pq-path=6861

When the EasyShare digital camera is not in use, and the battery is fully charged, can I leave the camera (turned off) in the dock?

The EasyShare camera dock automatically stops charging the batteries after it registers a full charge, so it is fine to leave the EasyShare digital camera on the EasyShare camera dock for short periods. However, leaving the camera on the dock for longer periods (days or weeks) is not recommended because this can cause problems with your camera and the batteries.
