Hello Andrew,
Even though the website claims Archos can play videos of DVD resolution it cannot play videos of such big resolution 800 x 480..To
display the full DVD resolution, you would either
have to buy the HD add-on plugin (presumably for $20 as it is not
available yet), which allows resolution higher than 720x480, or to buy
the MPEG2 plugin, which allows you to play a raw DVD VOB file...So also
it plays videos of Square pixels,So try to reduce a bit of resolution
to 720x480....!!!!...Better Reduce the Resolution of the video to 740 x 480 and
the bit rate while Converting, so Your Archos can play the MOvie
Completely and you can watch it...Also I hope the Embeded Subtitles in
the movie(MP4) doesnt work for which you have to get a seperated
Plug-in i guess...Thank you!!!...

when i convert videos i set video size to 800x480 bitrate 1500 but it will not play back stating that "video file is too big"
i tried setting the bitrate at 1000 video size 800x480 but is still saying 'cannot play video! image size too big'
