Printer not responding. Message "cover open" is displayed when cover is closed.
Power light on,but power button unresponsive when pushed to shut of power.
Make the solution easy to fix. Almost impossible to get sensor part out to try & fix. Have got piece out intact but can't access back of machine to put back in. Future printers should have an easier access to enable such a simple little thing to be put back in if intact.

Same printer, same problem. Problem occurred after changing ink cartridge with an original Lexmark cartridge.
Steps taken: Reopen en close cover, take out cartridge and replace again, disconnected power cord en reconnected. No changes, problem remains.
