Is it possible to Replace the blower motor on a hunter 30350 air purifier? Where could I get the part?

I hope this is not to late. This is an old post. But I have this same air cleaner. It does prove difficult at first to open and it feels like you are going to break it.

On the sides about two to three inches down is a large indentation. Slide your fingers in there and gently but firmly pull the face plate of the air cleaner off. The air cleaner is as big as the front of the air cleaner. It will slide right out. I hope this helps.

You have to press the reset button on some models. The unit does not have any way of knowing you reset the filter -- you have to tell it.

Most likely the problem is a bad bearing in the fan motor.

Place a drop of two of sewing oil or other light oil on the fan at the shaft. Tap lightly on the fan with a teaspoon to create vibrations. Push the fan on slightly, then place two fingers on opposite sides of the fan, reaching all the way under the fan to the shaft to pull it off.
