Question about Philips 32PT6441/37 32" TV

1 Answer

No power I have a Phillips 32PT740H37A. I was transporting my TV in the back of my truck when it fell face down. Now, it doesn't have any power. Could it be a fuse or what?

How to transport a 56 inch general electric projector tv

I transport them all the time and the best way to do it is to put something down soft in the bed of a truck then lay it down screen first on its face. If you stand it up in the bed of a truck the wind usually destroys the screen. laying them down face first doesnt harm them as long as you have somehing soft to lay it on so the screen doesnt get scratched.

Can I lay a samsung led tv flat when transporting

Yes you can, but be sure to put down a thick blanket and put the face down so the screen will not be scratched. Lying one down will not affect the picture whatsoever when you set it back up

Need to transport a Toshiba 43vs9ua 43" TV....can it be laid down on its screen or back for 3 hours??? And if so what is the standing period prior to turning it on?

If this is a tube type TV it should be transported the same way as a Plasma type. Upright. The reason for this is because if the screen is not supported in the centre and evenly across the whole area of the surface, it may break being made of glass and heavy. I normally transport them face toward the side of the van and up against 2" of foam rubber with tie down straps to keep it steady.
There is no standing time before use however, if the climate is different to the transport, (air conditioned and cool but warm in the room it is put in), it is adviseable to let it reach the same temperature avoidind problems with condensation. This normally takes a couple of hours.
Hope that helps.

Haw to remove the base from sharp LCD TV 56 in

I find this guide about how to remove the Base of an LG LCD TV. Things You'll Need:
* Table or other flat surface
* Soft cloth or towel
* Phillips screwdriver

Instructions:
1 Unplug your LG LCD TV from its power supply and unhook any other cables from the TV.
2 Lay a towel or a soft cloth onto a table or another flat, supportive surface.
3 Lay the LG LCD TV face down on the towel, which will protect the screen from being damaged.
4 Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the four bolts that hold the base in place. The bolts are located in the center of the TV near the bottom.
5 Slide the stand out from the bottom of the TV.
6 Press the protection cover, which is supplied with the TV, into the spot on the TV where you removed the base until you hear it click into place.
7 Re-insert the four bolts you removed into the holes on the back of the TV and tighten them with the Phillips screwdriver.

I hope this help; remember to rate this answer. Good luck.

I have a rainbow of color about the screen. The TV fell out of the stand and now the color pattern is messed up. It fell face down.

sounds like a degaussing (magnetizing) problem.could be that the posistor inside the TV set got loose when the tv fell down. If you have experience soldering electronic components, you should be able to fix it by re-soldering. Otherwise, call a tv tech to do it.

Sound but no picture

I ran into this problem before and I can tell you what parts to check/replace - if you know how to do that. Since it took me hours of troubleshooting time, I would expect to be compensated a small cash fee for this info, but I don't know how this works on this site.

Samsung HCN653W Transport

the bottom stand seperates from the top screen portion. On the side under the top potion you will see 4 black phillips head screws on each side. Remove those. Also there is a small access panel on the right side ( if your facing the tv ). There are 2 screws there, remove them , and look inside , you will see 3 plugs. Unplug them. Once you have done all this, have someone help you and lift the top portion off.
