Pen drive write protected

may be the flash drive is locked...unlock the pendrive and then try again.
formatting can be done in other way.
goto run,type cmd,press enter,then type format f: in the cmd and press enter.this formats the drive

Save the contents in the pen drive (this process will delete all the files in ur pen drive) and then download this http://www.apacer.com/en/support/downloads/Repair_v2.9.1.8A.zip,unzip it n run.....click "Format". Make sure u have connected only the pen drive u wanna recover to computer,this tool is very blind n it doesnt allow u to choose which removable drive to format..it formats the first removable disk (seems so). if u have the Adobe install file in the pen drive,
access the pen drive thru USB, connect the pen drive to any USB port on ur machine.
once the machine detects the pen drive it will show up on my computer as "Removable Drive/Disk"
double click that and u can access the file sin that pen drive.
if u have the corrcect executable file for the Adobe installer just double click on it and it auto install it on ur machine...
it may ask for the drirectory to be installed and the serial number.
pls provide as requested.

Try the drive on different machines. If you get the same error on all machines, you'll have to format the drive to reset the File system

This is cause by a virus or something , first thing that you can do here is to back up all the files from your pen drive and then one everything is already back up you can go ahead and format the drive, just right click the pen drive and select format....that should;d fix the problem,,,,

right click on my computer after inserting the pen drive in usb, click on manage and select disk managment from left pan, you can format your pen drive by right clicking on it

DEAR SIR, I AM HAVING KINGSTON MAKE PEN DRIVE WHICH DOES NOT SUPPORT WINDOWS 98.KINDLY SEND ME A DRIVER FOR WINDOWS 98 WHICH SHOULD INSTALL ON MY PC AND ABLE TO WORK ON IT.

My 2gb hp pen drive showing please insert drive error. Also property showing free space 0 bytes. Please send me hp recovery tool or any equivalent tool to solve the same problem
