Hooking Up Problems

Hey I'm having a problem hooking up my Dual XDMR-7700 in my 97' Ford Ranger I am getting power to it my cd player, it is just that I can't get any sound to the speakers. How do I hook it up without buying a connector set?

I hooked up my 770 with factory wiring harness & put together correct colored wires, no sound on four in car speakers, but the aux jacks output from the player to my amp & rear 10's works fine.
Please let me know if it's fixable...or am i in the market for another player again. I am inclined to think something is wrong in car or wiring, because if it outputs sound from jacks, it should also from wires from back of player. Thanx.

I have the same problem, only with an 89 camry. bought the adapter, wired everything the way it was shown, and the power works, but no sound.

You can always remove the factory speakers to check the colors and then find the same colors in the dash, but it's best to buy the adapter so you dont make any mistakes that might cost you.

I just put in a radio in my 88' truck and i have to reprogram my stations every time i start my truck, why is it not holding memory?

Your red memory wire is not hooked up or you switched the red and yellow ignition wire around and your radio stays powered up when you turn off the ignition.

I cant find which onw is the power antenna wire is coming out the cd player

The wire is coming to be the blue with a white stripe for power antenna, if that wire isn't there you can always use the solid blue wire.
