After reading what the fault code was I pulled out the fan and the board it runs from. I found that the part of the board where the fan plugs in has a weak track section. The tracks on the board had broken so I replaced the broken track with some wire jumpers I made up. I reassembled it and it now works fine, fault code is gone

Why did door alarm suddenly start going off every time I open the fridge or freezer?

Hi Christine.

When your F&P beeps, it's indicating a fault code - count the beeps which will relate to a fault code. 17 beeps would indicate an issue with the freezer fan.

Could be the reed switch (door switch).. amount of beeps will indicate the fault code.

My 1200c front cylinder shuts down when it gets hot

I would first check the front cylinder spark plug is showing the correct color. When it next shuts down remove the plug and see if you have a spark. Spark or no spark I would replace first the spark plug then if the problem still occurs change the plug cap. Finally if it still shuts down change the HT cable and or the coil and HT cable. It is possible that the problem is further back in the ignition system and some component is breaking down when it or the surrounding area gets hot. If it is not the plug/cap/HT lead or coil at fault then I would get an electrician to look at the bikes electrical circuit and fault find it. This is going to be costly though. Good luck. Just had another thought could possibly be the ignition switch. Try spraying some lube into the switch barrel do not use WD40 as it is water based and while it does shift water, stop squeaks, etc etc. It does allow corrosion to reform.

Sa-100bt i have an f76 error after taking unit apart i have found that there is a black wire next to where the fan plugs in this wire has been disconected does any one know where it goes thanks

Usually that is just to wrap around the fan cable to make sure it doesn't go into the fan. F76 error can be either the fan is not turning, or the amp is bad.

LG 50 PS 3000 tv will not turn on. Flashes a picture then turns itself off

Since your TV comes on and shuts off, the possiblity of the main power developing a fault on switch on to shut off as the error amp is asking it to do so.. Please check for any failure of capacitors in the HT section. use a multimeter and test voltage on switch on. make a note and test after it switches off. you will slowly arrive at the point of trouble. look for dry solder joints. use a good iron to carefully solder all joints suspected to look mushy. check the connectors of the HT drives to the panel. there could be fault in the connection resulting in slow build up and causing the error amp to react to shut off. Hope my advice helps. Good day

When i turn on my samsung HT-Z110, the word "Protect" appears...

Protect mode will kick in whenever a fault is detected.

You get the unit not powering up, and sometimes you hear a clicking noise, that is the protection switch that keeps shutting down the unit.

Causes that can start protect mode are:

Electrostatic harges on internal circuits.
Leave the unit unplugged for power for one hour or so, this will allow discharge.

Bad speaker wiring.
Check speaker wiring, try unplugging and plugging back, or start after removing one speaker at the time.

Internal fault.
Internal fault is the natural cause for protect mode. If all the above did not work, then the problem is a blown component or an internal fault. In this case the unit must be taken apart , tested and repaired by an experienced person.
If the unit is less than one year old, or if you want to get service, call Sony at the phone number listed on the product documentation.

Regards.
