If you're rapid-firing, this will happen. You need to let the air chamber fully refill before shooting again. If your gun says "maximum 120 psi" then set your air at 120#. If you have a slow compressor, get one made for the job, or be satisfied with carrying a hammer. You need quicker recovery, or your gun needs servicing/cleaning by a Paslode mechanic.

Your air pressure is dropping everytime you fire. It sound like your compressor is not cutting back in untill it to low. Not giving your tool enough continuess pressure. Your compressor cut in pressure should be around 90-100psi no less. and your max. pressure no more then 120psi. (Make sure your regulator is set at 110psi)
good luck...!

Use fasteners that meet Paslode specifications only.

Increase air flow to tool -- use larger air lines
(3/8 ID minimum).

Increase Air Pressure. DO NOT EXCEED 120 PSI.

Just cleaned gun, shot about 300 nails, and wont shoot nails anymore, all within 2hrs.

wow 300 nails in an hour for this gun is alot. I am a professional framer and would not recomend this gun for that kind of use. The only time I use the pasload is when I have a small punch list. Not sure how old your gun is or how long you have been using it under that much of a load, but my guess is you may have burnt it up. The only real answer for these guns is to take them to a qulified repair person.

Paslode nail guns won't shoot

piston is probably jammed

This happens sometimes try holding it up against a board with the trigger depressed and then inset the battery.

The goal is to try to force the firing sequence to get the piston back to the right position with corded units this is simply done by attaching the air hose with the trigger pulled this causes air to rush into the gun chamber pushing the piston back and firing a nail out.

The cause of this is a misfire or jammed nail that stopped the piston in the wrong location so air will not build in the chamber correctly.

Hope that helps

I have a paslode nail framer 900600. the problem i have is the same after 3 exchanges. The gun will stop firing. i have oiled it, replaced gas, etc. the hammer simply will not come down to force the nail...

It may be as simple as making sure the spark plug lead is in the spark unit all the way.( Black box in the handle). Good Luck!! If you get stuck call Adelaide Nail Gun Repairs. They may be able to help you over the phone.

I have a Senco Framepro 701xp. I'm using a 3

What air pressure are you using? Try uping that, past 90 to about 105-110 max. What size air hose are you using? 1/4" is to small, need at least 3/8".

Nail comes out another hole

are you using the right nails and are they inserted properly if this is an angle gun? Also look for a jammed nail that might be causing this. look at the magazine bolts to make sure they are tight. You can go to Paslode.com for the owners manual and troubleshooting guide.

Will bosch nail guns operate with Paslode brand nails?

The F28WW takes 28Deg nails that are collated with wire, so your nails won't work in that gun. The N80SB is also a 28Deg nailer so your 30 Deg nails won't work in that gun either. Sorry about the bad news but it looks like your going to have to spring for new nails

Firing pin not retracting far enough to allow nails forward

Yes,this is a common "mis fire" by Pasilode. I own the 16p Framer and the Angle nailer and I never get it from the Framer but I do get it seldom from Trim Gun,nothing you can do ,its just a misfire.
