Sony HCD-BC150 As soon as I turn it on, it shuts

Sony HCD/DAV-BC150...I plug it in, turn it on & it lights up & turns back off. Then the standby light flashes & it won't power up at all unless I unplug & replug.

Change the audio amplifier IC are on short circuit and that´s the cause your device goes to protect mode

I think what is happening is that your soundsystems settings are set up to use a 5.1 surround and
when media like a standard stereo (2 channel) CD is placed into the player it doesn't have the extra channels. Your system should have settings to change between standard stereo mode and
advanced sound modes like Dolby 5.1 and DTS. Once the system is se to match the media its playing it should work fine.

See if you are having a color system issue. PAL TV with NTSC DVD player or the other way round.

Hcd bc150 main power

Please check Input Voltage 110 ~ 240 volts AC at rear or bottm side of unit. If same is written there, its Auto Voltage Operatable and can be use on 220Volts.

Sounds like your TV's sound output isn't working. Check all the connections and if that doesn't do it, try hooking up some other sound system to the TV to check that it is working properly.

Power light just blinks

I have this same problem, it is so frustrating, some movies it will play, and sum movies it will shut of in the middle of it and just blink. You have to un-plug it and plug it back in for it to work.
