The main control and door latch are not talking to each other without testing impossible to say which one on the latch assembly there are micro switches which have contacts that are open or closed depending on latch position this tells the control the position when you power up the door locks the unlocks try a latch assembly first

Frigidaire electric wall oven wont open error code f90

Error Code E90 typically means that you have a faulty motor door latch, lock motor assembly, door light switch or a defective EOC. You would need this to be diagnosed by a professional technician in order to properly repair the wall oven.

If tripping and turning the circuit breaker off for about 10 minutes does not work, contact Frigidaire. Sounds like the control board and/or door switch will need replacing.

How do you remove the door from a frigidaire gallery series double wall oven(self cleaning)?

Open the door and look at the hinges the connect the oven door to the oven body, on each side you will notice a piece that can be moved back and forth without moving the door, roll each side toward the oven body this should be the locked position, now try to close the door and you will notice the hinges lift up. At this time you need to pull up and push forward on the door and both hinges will come out.

Have you tried the Frigidaire web site. I did a quick search and they seem to have lots of information and user manuals available. Google is also a good place to search for manuals and other information for older appliances.

Cant unlock oven door

Hi, unplug the unit or shut off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes. Plug the unit back in or turn on the circuit breaker. Set the clock and gently try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door. Set the self-clean cycle again and only allow it to work for 15 minutes. Cancel the self-clean cycle and allow the oven to cool. Gently try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door. If these procedures fail to correct the condition, the lock must usually be accessed and moved manually to open the door.
*Note: Some model ovens require the oven door to be manually unlatched before the controls are returned to the OFF position or else the door may not be able to be unlocked. Check the owner's manual for proper operating procedures.

I turned on the cleaning switch for my self cleaning wall oven and now it seems to be finished but mthe door lock is still on and the oven keeps making a buzzing noise what do I do?

If the lock does not open after the oven has cooled down, then try this: First, unplug the range or shut off the circuit breaker for ten minutes. Plug the range back in or turn on the circuit breaker. Set the clock and try moving the door lock lever or opening the door. Next, set the self-clean cycle again and only allow it to work for twenty minutes. Cancel the self-clean cycle and allow the oven to cool. Gently try moving the door lock lever or opening the door

Door lock lites keeps flashing but the door is not locked

The F9 code indicates there is a problem with the door lock.

Try disconnecting the power to the range for 10 seconds and reconnecting. Open the oven door and hold the door switch plunger in while you try these things. Put the control into clean for 5 minutes then cancel clean. You must hold the door switch plunger in for the 5 minutes.

Try canceling the clean cycle without putting the control into clean.

Frigidaire Wall Oven does not open once hot

Well at least I seem to have solved it. I kept hitting clear off and tugged on the door and it finally opened. Once opened I noticed there is a metal hook at the top of the opening to the oven. Mine was rotated to the 9 o'clock position. I took a pair of pliers and rotated it until the open part of the hook was in the 12 o'clock position and tugged outward on it just a bit and the "door locked" signal went off. I hit clear off again and the beeping has not resumed. I'm thinking the hook got partially stuck in the wrong position after it automatically locked the door for cleaning.

Waiting for the oven to completely cool off before I close the door again.

Hope this helps someone else out there!
