How to turn on wireless on Lenovo T61 laptop?

I checked the manufacturer's web-site:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?brandind=10&familyind=374625&machineind=0&operatingsystemind=49979&template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FdownloadsDriversLandingPage.vm&validate=true

but did not find any device-driver for the wireless-adapter for your Operating System.

This might imply that the wireless-adapter is fully supported by the Operating System, i.e., no additional device-driver is needed.

Open the "Network Connections" window, and display all the currently-defined network-adapters -- the wireless adapter should be present. Select it, and right-mouse click on its icon, and choose "enable".

Open Control Panel - Network Connections - right click on Local Area Connection - click on the box for Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and the click on Install.
Then reboot the computer.

Cannot find wireless network on Secondary computer

Try this, unplug the power from your modem, wait 25 seconds and plug it back in. Unplug the power cord from your router and wait 10 seconds.. plug it back in. Wait for the Wan/Ready/Internet light on your modem to stop flashing or go to its default position. Reboot your 2ndary computer. Try the internet again. If this does not help please post again and we will dig deeper! Good Luck!

Vertical line on screen Lenovo T61 Laptop

You have a dead column of pixels. The only solution I'm afraid is to replace the LCD screen.

I'm sorry the news isn't good but can you take a moment and rate the solution as fixya even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear? Thanks! :c)

Wireless connection

You may have a physical switch on your laptop.
The following says that it may be hard to find but have a look at the front left edge of the casing.
