My Tv shuts off while I watch. Very frustrating. At first i thought it was over heating but it's completely cool. I've changed outlets and surge protecters.

My tv is doing the same thing. I can't get it to stay on for nothing. Someone please help with this problem!

I have a Sony tv that is about 5 years old and it it also shutting down after about 30 seconds of being on. I get a green flash and then it shuts down. Any ideas?

Sometimes, when i watch my television, it shuts off on me and makes a loud noise.. i had to plug out the power to make it stop... why is this happening .. what should i do ?

I have a 58 inch Sanyo flat screen TV, I turn it on everything works fine, shuts down in about 10 minutes! Sound stays on though. If I shut it off and turn it back on it does the same thing!

one of the energy cables is damaged, so tv 'safety protcol' turns on, not to burn shuts off.

When I was watching TV today my Sony Bravia KDL-40V4100 just swutched off by itself. After 15 minutes or so it came back on by itself, I shut it off soon after. Later on today after watching TV for 15...

Toshiba 32a33 tv demo runs while watching tv or dvds,unpluged tv for several days no help, shut off demo on tv set no help, desolder the menu and tv/video buttons on front no help. so now what?

sounds like a pain ..have you looked in the menu to see if you can shut it off ? try watching the tv with the batteries out of the remote to see if you have a fault with that .good luck farr64[colin]

it is problem power supply some of components are demage such as capacitor or diod is bad. You go to a service centre and repear it by a good technician

Your TV is overheating.. easiest remedy is to point a fan at the back of the TV or... clean the inside of the TV, Im sure its full of dust and stuff... this prevents air circulation inside the TV thus creating more heat...

it souds like the cooling fans arent working correctly. if the tv is staying on long enough to warm up and then shutting down i would look at the cooling fans
