Question about Casio QV-10A Digital Camera

1 Answer

Looking for Casio QV-10A

Is anyone willing to sell their Casio qv-10a? I don't need the box, just the working camera and if possible any cables and software.

Willing to pay $250 or make me an offer. I can be reached at [email protected]

Thanks
Faye

Xp recognises my Casio QV-4000 as a removable disk, but the disk is 'empty' while I really have foto's on it. Any Idea?

Should try to transfer pictures to the computer through cable with card in camera. Make sure you have drivers installed from Casio.com for your camera.

I'm trying to install the driver but always got errors.

From Casio:
This USB driver does not need to be installed for Windows XP. USB connection is possible simply by connecting the USB cable.

heres a link for the LV-10 viewer for XP

System Error oeo1 on Casio Digital Camera QV-R40

Go to the following website:

http://www.oborona.net/stuff/qv-r40/eng/index.html

unfortunately it does not translate very well from its native Russian, but a potted version of what you need to do is as follows:
1. Download the Casio QV-R40 firmware to a safe place on your PC, unzip it, and put a copy of the unzipped binary file onto a blank or spare SD card.
2. Insert the SD card in the camera, and then hold the Menu button pressed in while pressing the On/Off button.
3. A menu will appear on the screen saying Program Update, Yes/No
4. Select Yes and press the SET button.
5. After a short while you should get a message to say the update is complete. Switch off the camera and remove the SD card, and put in another SD card.
6. Switch on the camera, and hopefully it will restart as new. You will need to enter time-zone, date, time etc.
It has worked for me!

Casio QV-40

To tell you the truth.....NO. You can buy a new casio camera for cheaper than fixing your old QV. Alot of times too the QV isn't going to be compatible with XP or VISTA.

QV R51 problem

if the camera is giving good results indoors then there are less possiblities of damaged CCD. the problem can be with the apparture control system that it is not controlling the iiris in bright light. it should go high in high light and low indoors. it is fixed on low may be due to mechanical friction or the malfanctioning of the control circuit. try contacting other camera repairer then ASC of Casio
