I have a 3 check sheet stuck in teh printer. The first check has printed but only 3/4's of it is sticking out of the top of the printer. Attempted to print an envelope and machine jammed with error message of open door and clear jamb. But no door opens to where jamb is! 1:turn off the printer (unpluee)
2:slowley try to remove the jammed paper from the front feeder
3: if not successful locate the rear of the printer, there is a door u open it by pressing the two clatches on the left and the right once u removed the door ull find the jammed paper try to pull it gently

Chances are you have a paper jam. Remove the toner and open the back door and check for a paper jam. If you had a paper jam previously and had the paper tear on removal, look for small strips etc.
This typically means there is still paper stuck somewhere in that. My guess is that whatever paper as removed tore as it was pulled out. Look carefully everwhere you can.
There are possible 2 places for the paper jam, either the Feeder has jammed or from the input tray. For Feeder, you just have to open the feeder from the top and see if there are any pieces sticking in. Else, you can open the print head cover and look for pieces of paper jammed in it. Another place you may see is by removing the rear of the printer, it is called a duplexor which can be taken off easily. You may find some bits of pieces in rear of the printer. To avoid getting another jam, try to keep the paper in a cool and dry place. If the paper absorbs any humidity, it starts crumpling which results in paper jam. You can also try fanning the papers before putting in a bunch and use a recommended paper for the printer. Hope this helps. Cheers...
