My phone was working suddenly my motorola was showing insert sim

you can check it with other sim card ,if it remains the same problem ,it may be locked to particular network wont accept any sim card other than the particular network ,you can unlock it and used to other network,try here http://www.superunlockcodes.com/motorola-l7-slvr/rs12wp9/

My motorola slvr l7 will not accept files, says files too large. also my phone wont format the memory card (2GB sandisk). please help

the space in your memory card might be not enought to receive a file and save. if the phone is not formatting the memory card,use a card reader.

V551 can be unlocked online(cost 10 - 15$), or calling your network provider (free but very slow 1 - 3 weeks).
Online is fast, takes few hrs to get the code and key in the code takes less then 1 minute. I got my code from Here.
