I used ga eg45m ds2h, is it necessary to install eternal graphic software, when im using a third party card say ati hd4550. when i play some games it tends to fliker and exit, automatically... pls. help me find a solution....? Thanks a lot Pal !!!

Many of the old games use graphic textures that are not to the power of 2. This will result in missing textures, scrambled textures, black screens and more.

Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about this aside from making yourself an old pc or resurrecting an old one just to play them.

another suggestion is to drop the resolution down to 800x600 or 1024x768 and test there to see if this solves the issue.

As graphic cards advance they don't always hold a backwards compatibility. Its just what happens.

try looking for the driver under the legacy tab...

weve got the same prob.i also try what you did on your pc..but nothing happen but when i put a new graphic card it fix everything..try this..buy a new graphic card,

since you have laready checked the videocard to be working on your friends pc, the problem may be on your motherboard.

try to do some tweaking on the BIOS and if that will not help, check your directX and softwares installed on your pc. check also if your pc is in its most optimal settings.
