The lamp is located at the back side of the set. Usually on one of the side. Step 1: It should only take a philllips or flat blad screw driver to take the customer access panel off. Step 2: There wlll be screws holding the lamp housing in place either a phillips or flatbladed screw drvier. Step 3: Double check to see if you have all of the screw removed, then pull the lamp assembly out. Step 4: Then put the new lamp back into the assembly. Repeat the steps in backwards order and you are back in business. A word advice if you call a serviceman out they will charge. because they are suppose to be customer serviceable.

Problems changing lamp

Try removing the new bulb and reinsert it and make sure it make a good connection. Be sure to follow your projector's instruction manual on how to change your bulb exactly.

Blue light flashing in front of TV. TV does not come on. The front of the TV near the bottom, when you turn the unit on there is a blue light that lights up solid. This is not happening, it just flashes and the TV does not come on.
