Question about GE GSS20IEP Side by Side Refrigerator
Sounds like a frozen waterline. I fixed mine by leaving the light on the dispenser on. It took about 6 hrs, but the little heat from the light bulb was enough to defrost the water line.

ice dispenser works but water dipenser does not.
The ice maker makes ice. When switched to water it makes noise as if going to dispense but no water comes out. Thought maybe it was both ice and water but ice maker is still kicking out ice.
I have a GE model # GSH25SGRB. About a month ago, the water stopped coming out. Ice works fine. My husband took it all apart and blew air through the line. He also ran a weed eater cord through it because he figured there was ice in the line due to freezing up. The line was fine---water still came out, but not when he hooked it back up, so we knew there was something blocking the line---ice. Turns out, it worked, but only for about a day. We're back to no water and I'm very frustrated. I have read several other forums about the SAME fridge problem with GE's and I have a neighbor who I have heard also has the same problem with hers.....all almost 4 years old. GE should have had a recall or offered to fix this problem if they knew it occurred. We have no idea what to do now and don't want to have someone come out to fix it when it will happen again. We have had this fridge for almost 4 years, so no warranty.
Exact same as Shellyn's but works intermittently!!!!! We're trying the "Light on for 6 hours" trick right now but not confident!!
I am having the same problem but, I also have a clicking noise coming from a panel at the rear of the refrigerator.
