Hiya Guys,
It seems the water level per washer load is lower than it used to be, is that something you have heard of before?

Not in the way you have described!...LOL. Seriously though, I can only discern that if you have selected the maximum water level available, then you are overlaoding it and need to remove enough items so that when the washer agitates, the clothes will circulate down and around the agitator, reappearing up at the top in different quadrants of the wash tub. This is true with any level you select. Another guideline to help choose the water level is to keep the items at or below the 3 oblong vertical hole slots in the side of the agitator. Then choose small, medium, or large water level.
If that doesn't help, then post me back with a more definitive description of the issue you are experiencing and any negative results you are having concerning the issue..
Good luck Dan!

Our Maytag stacking washer/dryer, MLE2000AYW, has generally worked well. Recently there is water in the washer after the clean clothes have been removed. The water can be removed by adding a spin cy

The intake valve may have debris under the plunger allowing the water to bypass the valve. If it fills up when not in use it is a sure sign of this. However, your issue sounds more like a clogged filter allowing drain water back in the drum after the cycle has ended

Replace wax motor on neptune stacked w/d

I just recently purchased a used Maytag MLE2000AYW Stacked washer/dryer. The problem I am having is that the washer unit seems to turn on, the lights go on, fills with water, but doesn't not engage in the wash or spin cylce. There also seem to be a kind of intermittent spinning sound every five seconds or so when it is in the wash cylcle. Can anybody give me some ideas to troubleshoot for?

Washer won't agitate, drain or spin

it only has one block fuse and should be located somewhere close to where the power cord comes into the washer. Go here www.repairclinic.com/SSPartDetail.aspx?s=t-LSE7806A-%3d%3di435797&PartID=435797 this is what you need to check.

Washer won't agitate, drain or spin

quite possible that the fuse has gone bad again, if that s the case i would recommend replacing the fuse, and the lid switch.
