I started a load of clothes and the tub filled and washed but will not empty and go into the spin cycle. Three lights are lit and the washer just beeps to alert that something is wrong. I unplugged the unit and tried to "reset" it thinking the problem may be with the computer, but that did not work. Any suggestions?
Tilt the washer backwards. looking under the washer toward the front right corner youll see a black fan blade. its part of the drain pump. see if you can turn it manually. if you cant then you can push in the white plastic tab up close to the tub, and twist the pump to the left. be prepared because all the water in the tub is going to come out. once you get the pump out you might find a sock or something wraped around it. if so just remove it and reinstall the pump. if nothing is stuck around the pump or if the pump turns manually then the windings in the pump are bad just replace it

To add to previous solution, be sure to remove hoses interconnecting pump and diverter and clean them out. They can get plugged up with small pieces coming off clothes in the wash.
This was my problem when I had the same symtoms as yours.

My Fisher Paykel GWL 11 will fill with water, wash, but will not go further. I can hear that it should be working, the sound stops when I push pause. I have taken the pump out, can't tell if anything is in the pump. How does the water get to the pump? Can something be stuck before the pump?
Thanks,
Paul
i have a gw 712 that goes starts to fill and stops feeding water every 4 seconds then starts when level reached but stops at different times through cycle and first led and first one of rinse cycle flashes and beeps have new pump and seemingly no blockages but when forced to start in spin cycle sounds like there is still some water in it after trying to pump it out lid locks then trys to spin 5 seconds then stops and repeats cycle will not go into spin cycle
