Lint vent Is there really no lint filter? So you really dont have to clean the lint vent yourself?

had similar trouble and it can start a FIRE. Try cleaning the vent outside. The shutter doors can be hindered by lint and critters. If cleaning the vent door is not enough, take vent pipes apart and clean them. This should be smooth aluminum pipe not, the corrugated plastic etc.. If this does not cure it, the blower may be clogged or dead inside your machine.

Probably a lint buildup on the sensor. Need to clean the entire lint system. Should be able to remove the plastic frill if the lint filter is inside the drum. Remove the two screws and clean out all the lint then pull the dryer out remove the vent hose. Run a vacuum hose or reach up i to there and pull out the li t. Then clean out the vent hise...a broom handle works if it's a straight shot.

Have you cleaned your outlet vent tubing? Cleaning filters is just one part of really cleaning your dryer. You have to clean your dryer vent from the back of your dryer. Disconnect the vent from behind your dryer and use a shop vac to suck out any lint that mite be built up. Blocked lint tubes are #1 cause of dryer fires.

There is no other filter to clean other then the one lint filter.
I would check the dryer vent to make sure it's not restricted with lint build up or has any kinks in it. Also check the outside flapper at the end of the dryer vent to make sure it's clear of lint and able to open all the way.
If your dryer vent is ok and the lint screen is clean then I would remove the front of the dryer and check the blower/fan housing for lint build up.

Dryer lint not only presents a problem by cluttering up your clothes with white specks, but it can also lead to a dryer fire. While it is impossible to completely eliminate dryer lint, you can take action to drastically reduce lint and the potential problems that come along with excess dryer lint. If your clothes take more than one cycle to dry, you see no lint on the lint screen, the clothes are very hot after drying or you find excess lint on the clothes after drying, you probably have a problem with accumulation of dryer lint in the dryer vent.
Use a dryer vent cleaning brush and clean the dryer vent, or hire a professional to clean the exhaust vent behind your dryer. If your dryer vent is clogged, it will create excess dust in the dryer and on the clothes. The excess lint can eventually catch on fire given the heat load of the dryer.

Clean out the exhaust vent tubing really good.. A moister sensor will detect any build up of lint and shut the heat off

When a dryer runs for around 30 minutes and shuts off it has reached the maximum operational temperature allowed and is most likely being shut off by the high limit thermostat. This is a safety feature built in to keep from causing a fire due to over heating.

This overheating condition is usually caused by lint buildup in the following areas.

1. The outside dryer vent exit is blocked with lint
2. Flexible vent ducting has lint build-up inside
3. The lint filter in the dryer is restricting airflow
4. The lint filter trap area has a build up of lint restricting airflow across the lint filter.
5. The blower fan / blades / ducting have a lint build up causing low air flow.

Do a tedious insepction for lint buildup and all of the ducting areas that you have access to without disassembly.

Make sure to clean as much of the lint out of the areas that you can see. In the process of cleaning DO NOT use sharp objects to try and free the lint.
If you have to... sacrifice a coat hanger and bend it in half so that it is U shaped to assist you in clearing the lint in stubborn areas.

If you really want to quickly rule out the outside ducting... you can disconnet the Vent hose / duct from the rear of the dryer and then dry a load of clothes. If it does not shut off you know that your external ducting is where the problem lies. Just make sure to reconnect the vent / hose ducting after the test. (Over time can make a large lint mess)

One other thing to check is the dryer door catch to make sure it is not getting weak when the dryer is hot allowing the door open switch to kick off the dryer.

Get a long brush they have ones made for this chore proably at Ace hardware.

you need a dryer vent brush first,bought at home depot cheap,and clean the entire vent to the house,then clean where the vent hooks up to the machine,if your filter is where your door is pull out the filter and stick the brush in there and pull out lint,also use your vacume,remember you let some lint out when you let the hose blow out but theres a lot more there to clean,and also unplug your machine as you do this,if this helps please give me a fix ya vote

check for wires near lint filter casing. these are the lint filter sensors, they could be defective that is why it always indicate a clean lint filter alarm,
