Question about Motorola Mobility H500 Wireless Headset
Oh, I found it!
What comes off is the T-shaped chrome piece on the topside. To pry it off, start at the blunter end of the H500, on either side of the USB port. And note that this chrome piece is just a veneer, sitting on top of the black (in my case) plastic housing.
This web page shows and discusses the disassembly process, on the way to reusing the H500 innards for something else:

Oops, there's more. The "M" disk on the top seems to be held in place with a mild adhesive. A very finely-tipped screwdriver worked to gently pry it off. And sure 'nuf, as the Guest above indicated, there's a screw underneath it, the removal of which permits you to pop apart the upper and lower halves of the device. Carefully, though, because there are two very small, twisted wires that connect the two halves. (I'll shut up now... :-)

I'll keep looking, but I'm curious how to get the "M" off...?
... and are we talking about the "M" in front or in back??
Just what I needed.
Thanks.
