Hi, I paid $50 to Telstra today to unlock a new Nokia 6120C pre paid phone, only when I follow instructions and put in the legit unlock code, it says not allowed. Telstra are trying to tell me the phone is faulty but I don't think it is and don't want to waste time sending it back......
The phone isn't faulty, the 'Not Allowed' error simply indicates that the phone has been subjected to it's maximum allowed number of code entry attempts. There is a possible solution to this at the link I have supplied below.
