RCA 32 inch ColorTrak Plus. TV is hooked to cable. I can produce the problem by wiggling the coax connector - even with no cable attached. TV is from October 1996 and belongs to my mother-in-law, age 90. Repair shop estimate is $95 to $105 to fix on site. Is it worth fixing?

Bad ground connection in tuner.....good old set to fix and
older folks get attached and comfortable = why rock the boat?
If it lasts a couple more years.............................T.

TV is connected coaxial to cable (no box). Occasionally, the channel will go fuzzy and deterrioate all together. Going to coaxial cable and "moving it" will resolve issue.
