Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional for PC

Canon ImageClass D880

Hi,
I have a Canon ImageClass D880 with is giving up the E000 error.
Do you have a way to test the fuser to see if it is the fuser or something else. Thanks

E000 error is a fuser error. You should get 24VDC on the input to the Halogen lamps in the core of the teflon roller. More than likely the lamp burnt out.

Then go to knowledge base, choose the program and type in the error. You might find the answer there. Good luck.

Press Additional Functions key
Press #
Press > to #7 Printer Function
Press Set
Press > to #4 Printer Reset
Press Set
Press Unplug printer and repower it.

What is error code E000 mean

Solution:
Press "Additional Functions",
Press "#", then press the "Right Arrow" button till it says, "Printer",
Then press "Set" then press the "Right Arrow" button again until it says "Printer Reset"
Then press "Set" again, the display will ask you "Yes" or "No".
Press the "Left" arrow for "Yes", then press "Set".
Now, unplug the power cord and wait 5 seconds and plug back in.

If this don't work, get a new fuser.

The error history indicates any of the following error codes 4 times: E001, E002, E003.

Which relates to the fuser temp. you need to change the fuser unit.

Error message on printer E000

E000 is a fixing unit problem. It could just be needing to be reset or replacement of the fixing unit or if that is not the fix it may coast more then it is worth.
