I bought a connector cable for my ipod to connect to this radio. Sure enough I hooked it up but it wouldn't play. We heard that we should hook it up to the auxiliary outlet, but the radio doesn't have that.

How can I make my ipod work? Do I have to go to radio or CD?

I bought a connector cable for my ipod to connect to the aux. Sure enough I hooked it up but it wouldn't connect to the system. We heard that we should hook it up to the auxiliary outlet, but the radio doesn't display it when pressing the SRC button  .

How can I make it recognize my ipod. Do I have to go to radio or CD.

No its not, I used to sell that particular radio, while I dont remeber quite what that option is I think its to change your rca output to sub from rear or visa versa. As far as the Aux input that radio has the aux input on the front of the unit,. It is on the lower right hand side if memory serves. Now, is your question more towards, "how do I turn it on?" let me know

Finally after months of driving around with the cable in my car and having to listen to the mp3 player with ear buds I can use the cable to get the music to come out of my car’s speakers, Thank God.

Turn the player to standby. Push menu and use the right knob to the right until it says AUX, the digital display makes it look like AUH, but turn that on and then you can play your mp3 on the car’s stereo

Cant seem to get the aux up on my kenwood kdc-237 tried from src button but to no avail can anybody advise please

Its becuase the aux is turned off as default so you have to activate it.
Put the unit into standby mode
Press menu for at least a second untill menu appears and then select the aux option and edit it to either aux on1 or aux on2 or aux off.

How to turn on the qux option

Try doing it when the unit is in standby. press the SRC button until the unit says Standby, then press menu. If you dont find it in there, try the same way but press and HOLD Menu. If that doesnt work give me a call when your near your radio. 2399106999
