How do i get the child lock off ?

Hold the child lock button until it beeps and the child lock will switch off. Same applies to put it on.

Press "end of cycle" button for over 5 seconds, the child lock comes off. Press it again and the child lock comes on, this works for Hotpoints, you could try, no harm.

Hotpoint wf860 stuck on child lock

Hello
To deactivate the child lock function, press and hold the 'Child Lock' button for 2 seconds. Ypu will then hear a beep and the child lock icon will go out.

My mother in law just bought a hotpoint wma 60 washing machine second hand no manual included and it wont start a wash comes up with a lock symbol flashing and a pic of child flashing up too i think it...

1. Switch on the power and when the language is displayed - press the child lock+ temperature+ spin buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds. Release the child lock button when other languages appear. Scroll down using temperature button-until English is dispalyed. Select using child lock button.

My hotpoint wf860 child lock button pressed by accident ,now no buttons work want to give fast spin,then wash next load.

Try holding down 'options' & 'select' together the light changes OR 'dry' & 'spin' OR hold down 'end of cycle'. Works for other machines, tell me what did it.

Hotpoint ultima baby icon flashes/beeps

the icon means that the child lock is on.
if you switch on the power to the appliance and hold down the child lock button untill the icon disapears the you will be able to select a program.

Wf865 reset

Press "end of cycle" button for over 5 seconds, the child lock comes off. Press it again and the child lock comes on, this works for Hotpoints, you could try, no harm.
If it works, pl rate me.

Hotpoint Ultima WD860 Washer Dryer not rinsing properly. Leaves white residue on dark clothes. Had this problem for ages, usually solved by running another cycle. Machine works fine apart from this. No errors codes. My wife is now putting me under pressure to fix or replace !
