Question about Jenn-Air SVE47100 Slide-In Electric Kitchen Range

Jenn-air slide in range/convection

The burners on and work fine but the oven isn't working - the lights are out on the clock - they came on once in a while, but now mostly off..when the lights are on, the oven works...how can i check for a loose wire?

Its not a loose wire. jenn-air is famous for having to replace the display board. once you replace it it will be fine

Gas oven doesn't work. Broiler does.

Hello - Most likely failed lower burner ignitor. Tests good if above 4ohms. Part is 40$. Can give replacement instructions if needed. Let me know if this helps. Thanks. -ED

My jennair burners ,fan and oven light work but

Replace the clock first(electric control) then test the oven it could be that it's why the oven does not work.

The touch pad on my Jenn Air Model JES9800BAF does not work. The clock does not display either. All four burners operate normally.

All burners work fine, clock display is blank, if the oven isn't working either, your display / control board is shorted out

Oven not heating up

Is it a good coil ignition gas oven? If so. Try replacing that part. My guess is it isn't hearing up enough t9 fully open the burner

Why are the oven indicator lights flashing? Answer: When power is first supplied to the appliance, a flashing time will appear on the display.
If a flashing time appears at any other time, a power failure has occurred. Press Cancel, and reset the clock if needed.
When the oven is not in use, the display shows the time of day.
If the indicator lights keep flashing after you have tried to reset the controls, then you may need to contact service person.

sounds like you lost power to your stove. if you can't reset the clock, it needs to be replaced. in otherwords, the power outtage shorted out the clock.

have a technician replace it.
