I've tried all suggestions how to remove the strainer, nothing is working it's stuck in there. Tried to find a # to call CS and they are in Canada only. I can't get the strainer out.
This juicer has a 10 year warranty and you can contact Omega directly for warranty information and servicing the juicer. The link for their website is below:
Push the reset button underneath - this worked with mine when the same happened to me; I only realised it was there after changing the fuse, which didn't fix it. I turned it over and found the button and voila!
Many times when juicing very fibourous produce the bowl(basket) can get stuck and you can loosen it by gently tapping on the pulp spout or juice spout to the counter clockwise motion(right), this will loosen the bowl.
Try the juicer on another circuit to see if the breaker failed altogether on the circuit you were using. It's possible that the machine is drawing more power than it should and may need to be checked by an appliance service dealer. An electrician can also check the power draw at the breaker to see if it is being overloaded. If the machine itself is defective, it should receive professional service. Good luck!
First, check that the switch is in the on position. Then, check that all parts are assembled properly. The unit has a built-in safety device that will not let the motor turn on if not assembled properly. The Power Juicer also has a built-in Thermal Cut Off Safety Switch. If the machine was running, then shut down due to accidental overheating, then there is a 10 minute cooling time before the machine will restart. This helps to protect the motor from seizing. I don't know this machine but if the cutter and shaft are metal try applying very hot water to the point where its stuck then tap it with something like a plastic screwdriver handle.Use your judgement on how hot the water should be by considering the surrounding parts and be carefull not to burn yourself.
Hi I had the same problem yesterday and emailed Champion Juicer about the problem here's their reply below, his suggestion worked.
Hello Duane,
Your machine is equipped with a magnetic start system which will only allow
the machine to start when you have the screenholder all the way in place
just as you would have it to start juicing. If you do not have any parts on
the machine it will not start. Please assemble it again and give it a try.
If it still wont start call me at 209-369-2154 for further assistance.
Thank you
Carl
