I have two DS Lites, they can talk to each other via pictochat feature but when I try and play Super Mario Bros on two player mode they keep searching for each other but never hook up. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks I have two cartridges. My consoles do not seem to be able to hook up to each other when I try games. They do talk on pictochat thingy tho. I read that there may be other wireless devices that affect the communication so maybe that is it?Thanks I have two cartridges. go to a park and try again. the possibility of interference happening is very low.
or...
in one ds start a new game when it start searching for other players, in the other, try to find a shared game, not start a new one. which mario are you playing?

There is no Vanilla Dome in New Super Mario Bros for Nintendo DS. If you ar talking about the Super Mario World SNES version, you can see the instruction/tip on how to get past Vanilla Dome 4 here:
Hi, an old style DS and newer DS Lite are both compatible with each other. They will be able to play the same games, go on pictochatwirelessly with each other and also play each other wirelessly with games that support it, for example Mario Kart.
Not sure what your problem is here... says same exact problem... same as what? It sounds like it is powering off in the middle of use? If that's the case then it is the actual DS device and not the game. If anything the game would cause the DS to lock up but not power off.
