Detection & installation problem

Dear sir
I have a Intel Desktop Board D915GAV mother board ,i try to connect 80 G.B. SATA hard disk but it is not detected in bios some time it is detected but during installation it is show there is no any mass storage devices Pl. Guide me

    My PC has ASUS P4S800D-X motherboard with SATA hard disk drive. I cannot install Windows XP because the SATA drive is not detected during installation. Please help

    PM800-M2 Elitegroup motherboard will not detect 500GB Seagate Sata HDD. I updated bios and still no go. Please help. I have tried changing settings in Bios and still nothing.

    I have 250GB WD Hard Drive . But it detected only 130 GB by my PC , which have pentium 4 intel motherboard .

In bios ide configration selecl ATA select both ur sata HDD will be detected

You can download the VGA Driver here. You dont really get windows 7 Drivers for the board but the xp drivers will also work. Just choose if its 32Bit or 64bit depending on your windows 7.

Sir my problem is that my SATA hard disk not detected by system. Also when i detect the SATA/IDE hard disk system hang, and nothing happen. But that time keyboard not hang. My SATA ports work...
Each PATA device (disk-drive or CD/DVD) drive has some small jumpers.

For the two devices connected via the one ribbon-cable,
set the jumpers on one device to the MA(ster) setting,
and set the other device to the SL(ave) setting.

Or, set both devices on the one cable to the C(able)S(elect) setting.

When properly set, both devices will be quickly and properly detected.

Be sure that your BIOS SETUP has been configured to allow SATA devices,
i.e., not set to "disabled" mode.

Because it must recognise the three hard disk of 250GB, and memory is not frequent to working with large amount hard disk.
It is better to work with only one hard disk of 250GB. According to mother board requirement it supports up to 500Gb Hard disk but single hard disk of 500GB.

If this board was manufatured by intel then you can go to www.intel.com. Click on the support link and lookup your board model #. All drivers/bios files that are available will be listed there and available for free download. Hope this helps & please take a moment to rate this solution. Thanks.

250gb sata hard disk to 845 glad mother board
Hello all. I have the same issue. My MB is 845G [P4 2.4 Ghz] and SATA harddisk I need to install is Seagate 250 GB Baracuda with 3.0Gb/s interface, I belive which makes this HD as SATA II. So for this motherboard should I prefer PCI cards which support SATA II over the supports SATA I [these are cheaper].

My Mother Board Does Not Detect My Hard Disk
Hi, I will assume that you are referring to the "Mother Board Does not detect 160GB SATA Hard Disk" when installing Windows. You need to press F6 when asked if you want to install other driver and follow on screen instructions. Good luck and post back how things are or should you need further information.
