How do i run a file on my Acer chromebook 315

No file told,
no "downloader updater", app name or version told
let me guess you found and APP (run exe) on the web (www)
and want to load it on to Chrome OS?
what are you trying to do?
you said DVD there is no DVD drive on this thin PC. zero
so to read a DVD you must buy and externa USB l DVD reader.
the Chromebook runs Chrome OS, not windows !
so you run non windows apps.
"Chrome OS cannot natively run Windows executable's, as it is a Linux based system, and is pretty well locked down."
with some limited exceptions. (wine /crossover)
tell what end goal is, my wild wild guess is you bought a new external USB connected DVD drive and it does not work and forgot to ask seller if it runs on Chrome OS? oops.
oops I bet it does not run on Chrome, as most do not
but non driver maker or model told, so ask them first
your PC has no DVD drive ! so what do you have,
cheers and good luck.

I need drivers for smart label printer pro

It would help if you had mentioned the Operating system and model number

The official Seiko site is:
Software Driver Downloads

However, Seiko has deleted its legacy printer support so you may have to find your drivers on a third party site

SII Printers Drivers Download for Windows 7 8 XP Vista

Note: With Seiko Smart Label printers make sure your printer is not connected to your computer until the Seiko software tells you to.

Important tips when finding and downloading application/ driver software from non-OEM sites

1. Never install any application from a non-OEM site that says it will scan your computer to determine what files you need. - search using the manufacturer name, model number, and current operating system on the computer you want to install the device on.

2. Only install the files you found. Never download any software suggested.

3. When installing the downloaded files, always select Custom Installation to make sure you only install the software you need. In this case only the application and driver files, nothing else ( no driver updating, security scanning, toolbar, etc. programs).

Non-System Disk or disk error

Typically this is a sign of a defective hard drive. Depending on the make and model of your computer, there may be some built in diagnostics that you can run, by entering the SETUP menu when the computer first turns on.
You can, however, try restoring the computer back to the factory settings and see if that solves your issue.

When I switch on my pc,it tells me disk boot failure insert system disk and press enter. I have XP proffessional sp3 but only have a xp home disk.

If your computer has just been formatted, your computer might require you to insert the boot CD

to be able to run it. You might hence get the error message Disk Boot Failure- Insert disk and

press enter displayed on the screen every time you will try to run it. This might be linked

* 1. The boot options not correctly set in BIOS
* 2. A non bootable CD is found in your CD drive
* 3. You do not possess any bootable device
* 4. You have installed a new hard disk
* 5. The hard disk is not properly plugged
* 6. Your system files have been infected

What is the maximum memory for this computer?

This computer (HP Pavilion a620n) has 2 x 184-pin DDR DIMM sockets and supports up to a maximum 2 GB of memory. It supports unbuffered PC2700/2100 non-ECC DDR SDRAM memory. (Also known as DDR333 and DDR2100 respectively)

Computer Turns off

When you installed the Belkin, without running the install on your dad's
computer, Vista rebelled, and is now in a non-cooperative frame of mind
until or unless you obtain the cooperation and participation of your dad in the install process, so that his system properly integrates into the larger
network you are setting up.

I repeat that which was implied.

Get your Dad's cooperation and participation FIRST!

I password protected my bios and don't know how to know how to remove it so i was going to remove the cmos battery

Removing the battery will not make a difference, it wil remove the system clock but he bios runs on non-volatile memory (memory that runs without power so you will not lose the password. Due to security reasons and without legitamate proof, i cannot tell you how to remove the password as the computer may have been stolen. let me know if you have proof, and i will TRY to help you.

I would recommend going to and run their scan. It will tell you what you have, what kind you need, and the max you can install.

And yes, it matters about ECC and Non-ECC. Your computer can not use both. Most are Non-ECC and the scan will tell you that too. It will also tell you if you need to install in matched pairs.

Xp in hp dv 6907 tx

If the laptop came from HP with Vista as the OEM operating system then the BIOS has been programmed to accept that operating system and only that operating system...other than windows 7. I have been told though that if you have a non-oem hard drive and initialize it on another computer and install it, there may be a chance nthat it will take an XP disc that has been streamed with service pack 3.

"Non-system disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready".

If this error occurs you open the cabinet disconnected the harddisk data cable for few seconds and reconnected the harddisk data cable and bot it will work.
