I checked your problem which you fasing. If you are not monitor specialist after than you should try one monitor specialist in local market. First you should say to engineer that mansion origional data cable in monitor.Engineer says that original data cable is not available in market.after than if engineer pressure to you regrading for 15 pin connenctor.than you should agree for 15 pin connector because if you are only one single user than this connector will carry for one year because this connector is temprary for some time.

Repair wire from signal cable is disconnected or broken (15 Pin D shape Connector)

Soldering usually. Some connnectors were prefabricated with rubber being injection moulded. Your best bet is to purchase a 15 pin D connector and change the old one by soldering.

What cord do I need to connect my 1810 gateway monitor to my tower

Your either going to need VGA or DVI. You need to check the back of your computer and monitor to see which type of connection you have. Then plug in the appropriate cable.

Cannot read the model number (chinese) I known i have a flat screen monitor 20 inches from DELL 2004 I want to connect it to my Inspiron 1100 .I need instructions this an handme down so I have no...

Since the cable you're describing is a VGA cable with the 3-row, 15-pin configuration, it will be the 1:D-sub selection. The DVI choice is for HD TV or a display card with HD capability. The S-Video is more commonly used for higher clarity video signals--less than HD of course, but approximately 15% to 20% sharper than a co-axial cable signal. (Reason: co-axial cable has all the color sigs squashed together while s-video splits them out into separate feeds.)

Hi my lcd suyama 17" computer monitor will not turn on. the green light next to the `on` button flashes but apart from that there is no life at all.

Its not getting a signal from your video card or onboard video.

Are you connected by a VGA cable or a DVI Cable. Or does it have an adapter from VGA to DVI?

Check and see if the moniotr it set to DIGITAL instead of ANOLOGUE. If so, switch to the other.

If you press the monitor settings buttons, does anything show like options to adjust contrast?

If so then it most likely your computer.
