The following a step by step instructions for the printer issue:
Confirm the ink tank(s) are properly installed
Perform print head alignment
Perform Print Head Cleaning - iP4500
If the prints are faint or streaks are printed, the print head nozzles may be clogged. Those phenomena can be improved by performing print head cleaning or print head deep cleaning. Also, you can check the cleaning results by printing the Nozzle Check Pattern after cleaning.
Remove tape from the ink tank and make sure the air hole is clear

Hi, I have a Canon MG5370 and recently stripes of lighter shades colour appeared and they ran horizontally across the colour printout. What is the cause of this? How do I fix it? Thanks.

There is a strip about 1/4 inch wide that passes through the back of the print head. Be very careful and clean this strip on both sides with isopropyl alcohol. Be very careful not to let the spring on the left end of this strip become disconnected.

My lexmark e120 printer prints with horizontal lines across the pages, how do I get rid of this?

Many times horizontal lines -- esp if constant (e.g. 4 inches apart) appear-- on laser printers indicates a drum issue. NOT usually inexpensive. Sometimes one can dis-assemble part of printer and clean drum with soft cloth and therefore "buy some time"

Horizontal lines appear every 4 inches on each

User manual page 6.17 says:
Horizontal streaks indicate improperly installed or defective toner cartridge. Try re-installing the cartridge.

HP Laserjet 3330 printed dark page especially around the middle

Does this happen both when copying and printing?
For printing solution, try another toner cartridge.
If lines continue to appear when copying (primarily through the automatic feeder) then lift the auto feeder, and clean the glass -mainly the narrow piece on the left side.

please rate solution :)

Black horizontal lines in printout

Seems like the drum needs changing. This is the most common cause for print problems in these printers. If using the high yield TN 6600 toner then you need to change the drum every 3-4 toners. If using the low yield TN 6300 toner then the drum will need replacing every 6-7 toners. Hope this helps
