Clear error code 507 on blackberry 7290

Blackberry troubleshooting sucks! I went from error 523 to 507 in process of fixing the 523 error...im tired of spinning hourglass...I love the phone and its functions, but my phone has been jacked up for nearly a month.
How do I get rid of this?

I'm sure it requires you to reinstall the phones firmware. Go to the following link to download the firmware:

Basically this means that there is an error with your BB operating system or software, you will need to reload you app's though apploader through your desktop manager.
Pulling the battery out while the device is on is worth a try before you reload the os, this is called a hard reset and fixes 80% of BB issues.

Complete the following steps:
Click Start > Run.
In the Open field, type %TEMP%, then click OK. Microsoft® Windows® Explorer displays the contents of the Temp folder.
Double-click the Loader-().log file. The log file is created only when the Application Loader process is unsuccessful.
Search the log file for one the following error messages:
Backup connection attempt has failed; requesting user guidance
User response is cancel

First I got an error code 507 with an icon resembling a screen with a square, circle, and triangle surrounded by a circle with a diagonal line through it.
After spending 2 hours on the phone with RIM support and reloading the operating system I got the message FFFFFFF for the pin number and even though the operating system reloaded I cannot send or receive any e-mail.
I have a Blackberry 7280 and this will be the third one with a problem.
Goes anyone know if the missing PIN number can be restored????

PC: HP zv6000 with Vista Home Basic (32 bit OS)
Problem: Unable to download OS on phone -507 Error / PC does not recognize phone when connected to USB.
Solutions Attempted with no success:
1.Downloaded latest of version of OS to PC.
2.Attempted to utilize the MML / MFI Loader with no success.
3.Downloaded Device Manager
4.Downloaded BlackBerry Desktop Software Manager.
5.Attempted with no results JL_Cmdr utility
6.Deleted Vendor
7.Reinstalled Rapi.dll
8.Attempted to find and delete intellisync.dll
9.Downloaded 8700 specific software no results.
10.Attempted the 4.7 version software update, no results.
11.Have BlackBerry Tool Authintication Manager (do not understand this utility)?.
Reason: My curve 8300 was stolen. This was an old phone a friend had at one time, trying to use it as a back up. I have a second number and line available to utilize with AT&T with an authorized fresh SIM card. Though when it worked for a few hours and I tried to upgrade with accidentally deleting OS there was only GSM, no GPRS or EDGE available, need help there too. Thanks.
