This one can be one of two things.

If you have a digital multimeter, check the power connection and make sure that it's not to high (eg. 7.5 V DC should read no more than 7.8 V for it to work properly)

Otherwise, just reset the router. I have a feeling it is the first one.

Once it reaches to 130% above of what's rated, it can fry your network adapter in your computer and possibly more damage if it's wired.

Unplug the router's AC power adapter for 5 minutes to ensure all capacitors have drained. Plug it back in and the router will reboot.
If your wireless doesn't start working. Log in to your router and check your wireless settings

Hello there sir, FixYa pro member is on your service!

Well it looks like your wlan output has been blocked somehow, I want you to take your D-Link wireless router behind, notice little restart button on it, press it and hold it for 10 secconds in that position, after that use your router will be on factory settings, then WLAN ports should be automatically opened. If not just check wlan status enabled . Thanks for asking fixya.com sir have a nice day! :)

Please rate my solution if you have a moment or so, thanks in advance.

WIFI just stopped working. No problem with modem and all lamps looks like normal on the router (!) . I can however not see any wifi connection when looking at my network connection. Just suddenly stopped...

this is all i could find out..
The way to fix this is to unplug both your modem and your router (you may have one piece of equipment that acts as both) and wait a full 60 seconds. Then plug them both in again and wait for all the lights to stop flashing. At that point, try to reconnect to the Internet again.22 Mar 2017

How to put wifi in that phone??

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

The Mototola Droid Cell Phone has WLAN from the factory. That is, it has Wi-Fi 802.11b,g. So, you don't need to install it. Wi-Fi is already in the phone.

Here is a link to your owner's manual in case you don't have one handy. http://www.motorola.com/staticfiles/Support/US-EN/Mobile%20Phones/DROID-by-Motorola/US-EN/Documents/Static-Files/DROID_UG_Verizon_68000202474a.pdf

To connect to Wi-Fi see page 4 of your user guide for instructions.

Wi-Fi connect

To connect to an available Wi-Fi router, touch Menu Key (bottom of the phone and just left of the center of the phone) > Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi settings. (And turn Wi-Fi on.)

You can reset your router with reset button it is in back side of router.
Press it for 10 seconds.
Then con nect your router to computer with ethernet cable.
Then you can access it with following link.

Wireless network connection problem

Ok with a peripheral on USB or on PC card bay you can try to connect to a Wireless lan:
Please check this tip on the subject
To connect to an existing WLAN you must be sure your wireless card is working: I assume you installed all the related sw coming with the wlan card.
Using the card installed driver check card is enabled and running (in Control Panel/Network connection should be visible and enabled)
Then you can connect to an open Wi-Fi HOTSPOT or to your WLAN you configure with a router connected to your internet modem.
  1. To connect to an existing HOTSPOT: find a location where you know a wi-fi access point (HOTSPOT) is active: Internet cafe,, library, airport,, station, hotel etc.your card should be able to find the existing network when you select "show existing network" in wlan driver. Connect if network is "unsecure" (= no password or key is required) or ask for password if you can get it for a fee (hotel)
  2. To connect to your home or office WLAN be sure to use a router (or access point) with same standard of your card (802-11G or B or A or N) with same security protocol (WEP or WPA) and configure your router Internet access BEFORE wireless access. Connect your PC to your router using a LAN cable and be sure you can browse through the router.(contact your ISP for router specs if you need it: PPOA/E and other). Follow the tip and your router doc for settings
