Question about D-Link ADSL2/2+ Modem/Wireless Router 4-Port Switch, 802.11g, QoS (DSL-2640B)
My d-link 2640t wireless router suddenly turned off the wlan lamp and i stopped getting any wi-fi from it but the wired connections are working perfectly
How Can I Get it back to give me Wi-Fi?
This one can be one of two things.
If you have a digital multimeter, check the power connection and make sure that it's not to high (eg. 7.5 V DC should read no more than 7.8 V for it to work properly)
Otherwise, just reset the router. I have a feeling it is the first one.
Once it reaches to 130% above of what's rated, it can fry your network adapter in your computer and possibly more damage if it's wired.
