I have a Jenn-air 731W and noticed today that there is a loud grinding noise during wash cycle. Also the top arm wasn't moving. It did however clean the dishes. Is this the start of a problem?

If you remove the back panel, there are two pumps towards ethier side at the botom of the tub. If you remove the back hoses (have some towels ready) You may find something in one of the two pumps.
You might have something bouncing around in the wash pump inlet in front of the "chopper". Remove the lower arm and upper arm supply tube. Remove the screws then remove the screen, accumulator and inlet protector. You should see debris in front of the screen.
